Players are evaluated all year long by the coaching staff and directors. In the younger age groups, players develop at different speeds and may not be consistent from week to week. This is a very normal part of the developmental process as young players learn to deal with the challenges of the game and the pressures of performing for their parents, coaches, and peers. Player evaluations serve as a productive tool used to help a player achieve their goals and to emphasize areas that need more attention or to highlight areas of achievement. These evaluations are always confidential between the player, coach, and parent and can be verbal or written.
