We recommend that all Arlington Soccer Academy members follow any suggested guidelines set forth by the local municipality, Arlington Parks & Recreation, and local health department that aid in providing a safer environment for our players and families while participating in the program.
Soccer is a contact sport, and there are risks involved for transmission and contraction of any virus. With the risks being lower due to being outside, we do recognize that there may be families who are still uncomfortable given those conditions. We ask that everyone be respectful and show empathy towards each other and work together as a community to create the best and safest possible environment for our kids to play the game.
If any player/coach/admin/parent thinks they are sick, please stay home. Specifically: symptoms of acute respiratory disease (i.e. cough, sore throat, shortness of breath), fever, sudden loss of smell or taste, or being diagnosed with COVID-19 (which would follow current quarantine requirements). If a coach or administrator has a concern about a player's health, they have the ability to send that player home.
If any member of Lakeland Soccer tests positive for COVID-19, they need to report that information to the Director and follow all guidelines from their health care provider. Members who test positive must quarantine the CDC stated (5) days from the positive test date. After (5) days, they may return to all activities.
