Professional Player Josh Morton Joins ASA Coaching Staff

We are excited to announce, professional player Josh Morton has joined the ASA coaching staff. Josh is originally from Brentwood, California and is a current player for the new USL expansion team, Memphis 901 FC. Previously, Josh played with the Tulsa Roughnecks FC, where he scored his first professional goal against Tim Howard and the Colorado Rapids in the 2018 exhibition game at Autozone Park. Before signing professionally, Josh was a standout player for the San Jose Earthquakes Academy program then went on to play college at UC Berkeley, CA where he started all 4 years, captained the team his Senior year, and was named All Pac 12 team. Professionally, Josh was drafted by the Chicago Fire in 2018, and played with the Tulsa Roughnecks FC starting 24 of 32 matches and leading the team in “Duels Won”. Josh joins the ASA staff as a Technical Trainer, and will be working with players in our Performance Training Sessions. Please help welcome Josh to the ASA Family!
